The Natural Nut; Natural Peanut Butter /  Almond butter

I love peanut butter. I have literally eaten it straight from the jar and I know many people are guilty of that! Although, I usually have it with a banana (another substitute for bread is using a fruit to dip in spreads like peanut butter). The problem is that it has so many unnecessary added ingredients that I prefer not to consume. 

There are 2 things I recently discovered that I truly love:

1 - Low-Fat powdered peanut butter is a great alternative for the big peanut butter junkies out there. With the same ingredients you find in all-natural peanut butter (peanuts, sugar and salt), but only 30% of the calories - it allows me to give into my peanut butter cravings, without the guilt - I swear by this stuff, checkout PBZero if you’re looking for some.

2 - Almond butter is a delicious spread. Look for those whereby the only ingredient listed on the package is “freshly roasted almonds” – how much healthier can it get?

Both are very good and are so much more natural than the regular stuff. You can tell they don’t contain many preservatives because you are obliged to refrigerate after you open them - which is not necessary when something has been highly processed.
